Beautiful Shirayuki Kitchen Cloths are more than just kitchen cloths. They are nothing like any cloth you have ever used. Layered fine mesh cloth makes it extremely absorbent and resistant to staining. Once I started using them many years ago, I cannot use any other kitchen cloths. There are many Shirayuki Kitchen Cloths lovers like me in Japan. The cloths are now gaining fans across the world.
This multi-purpose cloth makes excellent drying/cleaning cloth. Not only do they pick up liquid and dirt quickly and effectively, but they also wash clean without any hassle. Because of the 8 layers of mesh cloth stitched together, they are extremely durable and guaranteed to last.
Shirayuki means “white snow” in Japanese. The cloth stays as clean as white snow for a long time. The cloth will become softer with each use.
Please wash thoroughly in warm water by hand before the first use to remove the starch. They use natural sweet potato starch from Kagoshima prefecture in Japan. Soak in hot water with 40 degrees to let the starch soften. Rinse until water comes out clean.
