Return & Refund Policy

At The Wabi Sabi Shop, we take great care in inspecting, packing, and shipping every order from our studio in Yokohama.
Each item we send reflects the work of Japanese artisans and the trust you place in us.
If something arrives damaged or not as expected, we’ll do our best to make it right.


 

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it.
Email us at info@wabisabi-jp.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
We’ll review your message and arrange a replacement or refund, depending on availability.


 

Returns

If you change your mind, you may return an item within 30 days of delivery, provided it is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging.
Please contact us before sending anything back so we can confirm the return address and process.

Returned items must reach us in undamaged and resellable condition.
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method.
Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.


 

Unclaimed or Refused Packages

If a package is returned to us because it was unclaimed, refused, or customs fees were unpaid,
we’ll refund the product cost once it arrives back in Japan in good condition.
Shipping costs cannot be refunded, and if you’d like it reshipped, a new shipping charge will apply.


 

Lost or Missing Packages

If your package hasn’t arrived within 30 days of shipment, please let us know.
We’ll contact the carrier and do everything we can to locate it.
In the rare case that it’s confirmed lost, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.
