There’s a fleeting moment in Kyoto’s Gion district when dusk turns to night, and the air carries the subtle fragrance of passing elegance. Evening Bloom of Gion (Gion no Hana) is a romantic, floral incense that captures this refined atmosphere—sweet, warm, and touched with grace.
Blended with sandalwood, ylang-ylang, and amber, the fragrance is layered and expressive. It evokes the quiet glamour of a stroll past lantern-lit teahouses and softly perfumed sleeves. Housed in a paulownia wood box (桐箱), it’s an homage to Gion’s understated allure.

After lighting the incense tip, gently blow out the flame to let the smoke rise. Use a non-flammable incense holder, and place a tray underneath to catch ash. Avoid using near flammable items or in windy areas. Handle with care, as embers may remain even after the smoke disappears. Keep out of reach of children.
