Furoshiki is a centuries-old Japanese tradition that embraces sustainability and elegance. Crafted from high-quality fabric, this Furoshiki offers a balance of durability and softness, making it suitable for multiple purposes. Its 90cm square size ensures versatility, providing ample material to effortlessly wrap items or cover surfaces.

Simply fold and tie the corners, and you'll have a secure and fashionable way to carry your belongings, reducing the need for plastic bags.

When used as Noren curtains, the Furoshiki adds a touch of Japanese charm and privacy to your space. Hang it across doorways, windows, or room dividers to create a distinctive ambiance while maintaining a sense of openness.

These beautiful patterns and unique hues are inspired by the work of Yumeji Takehisa (竹久夢二), a renowned Japanese poet, painter, and designer from the Taisho Era. Yumeji's art features dynamic patterns and distinctive colors derived from everyday motifs, making them perfect for a wide range of settings.

Our Tsungi-Dango pattern draws inspiration from the "つなぎだんご" (Tsungi-Dango) seen in the quaint streets of Gion and the traditional tea ceremonies where it adorns sweet dishes. Yumeji reimagined this motif, and we've incorporated it into our Furoshiki designs. It's a fresh yet elegant pattern that evokes the vibrant spirit of Kyoto in spring.

Each item comes with a handy instruction booklet. Made with care in Kyoto, Japan.

Discover the charm of Tsungi-Dango Furoshiki, where tradition and modern style intertwine beautifully.
