Kousaido Incense from Kyoto — Warbler

ENGIMONO Warbler

$14.50

The warbler (uguisu) is often called the “harbinger of spring” in Japan. Its clear, melodic call is a symbol of renewal and hope. In the ENGIMONO series, this tiny bird becomes a gentle fragrance to brighten your space.

ENGIMONO Warbler offers a light floral-green scent, soft and refreshing—like the first breeze of spring. It’s uplifting yet subtle, perfect for morning routines or moments when you want a clean start. The packaging features delicate warbler artwork, and each bundle is wrapped in matching washi paper.

  • Soft floral-green fragrance with a refreshing, airy quality
  • Inspired by the Japanese warbler, symbol of spring and renewal
  • Approximately 40 long sticks per box, each burning 20–25 minutes
  • Packaged with coordinated warbler-themed washi wrapping
  • Made in Kyoto by Kousaido as part of the ENGIMONO series

Crafted with natural aromatic ingredients. Designed for a gentle, low-smoke burn with a fresh, clean finish.

The box measures 15.5cm × 3.7cm × 2.5cm (6.1” × 1.5” × 1.0”) and contains approximately 40 long incense sticks, each with a burn time of about 20-25 minutes.

After lighting the incense tip, gently blow out the flame to let the smoke rise. Use a non-flammable incense holder, and place a tray underneath to catch ash. Avoid using near flammable items or in windy areas. Handle with care, as embers may remain even after the smoke disappears. Keep out of reach of children.
