Designed for Free-Flow Brewing

The Manmaru glass teapot is designed to give tea leaves space to fully open and infuse. Manmaru means “perfectly round” in Japanese, referring to the teapot’s spherical shape, which creates a generous interior where leaves can move freely and brew evenly.

Loose leaves are left completely unobstructed inside the body of the teapot, allowing natural convection to develop flavor and aroma. When poured, the tea passes through a wire strainer fitted at the spout, gently straining the leaves only at the final moment—without interrupting their movement during brewing.

Clear, Lightweight, and Easy to Use

This version features a glass handle, keeping the overall feel light, simple, and visually uninterrupted. The transparent form allows you to observe color and strength as the tea develops, making it especially satisfying for teas that change character as they steep.

With its larger capacity, this Manmaru teapot is well suited for sharing tea with friends, serving several cups at once, or enjoying a longer, unhurried tea session.

Thoughtfully Made in Niigata, Japan

Handcrafted in Niigata, Japan from heat-resistant glass using flame-working techniques, this teapot balances clarity and function. Designed for black tea, oolong, herbal blends, and other loose-leaf teas, it offers a practical and approachable way to enjoy full-leaf brewing at home.

The glass body is microwave safe for reheating (glass parts only), while remaining unsuitable for stovetop or direct flame use.
