The camellia flower, also known as tsubaki, blooms in winter and represents perseverance and hope. It is a popular subject in literature, poetry, and music. The oil derived from the camellia seed is also widely used in beauty and grooming products. Tsubaki is a cherished part of Japanese cultural heritage.

Please wash thoroughly in warm water by hand before the first use to remove the starch. They use natural sweet potato starch from Kagoshima prefecture in Japan. Soak in hot water at 40 degrees to let the starch soften. Rinse until water comes out clean.
