As of August 27, both Japan Post and DHL have suspended shipments to the United States due to new customs regulations. Since these are the carriers we rely on, we are currently unable to ship orders to the U.S.
We know this is frustrating, especially for so many of our valued customers in the U.S. This pause is temporary — we’re actively exploring alternatives and will update this page as soon as shipping resumes.

Shipping
We take pride in delivering your carefully selected Japanese homeware essentials quickly and securely. All items are shipped from our office in Yokohama via reliable Japan Post. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination and weight of your order. To keep you informed, we’ll send you tracking information via email as soon as your package is on its way, so you can follow its journey right to your door. We are constantly working to keep shipping costs reasonable for our global customers and appreciate your understanding and patience.
Confirmation of Your Order
After placing an order on our website, you will receive an email confirming your purchase. If you don’t see this email in your inbox, please check your spam folder. If you still can’t locate it, feel free to contact our friendly customer support team at info@wabisabi-jp.com, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Returns
We want you to love every item you purchase from us. If, for any reason, you’re not completely satisfied, we’re committed to resolving the issue quickly. You may return items within 30 days of receiving your order, as long as they are unused and in their original packaging. To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at info@wabisabi-jp.com, and our dedicated team will guide you through the process with personalized attention and care.
Unclaimed Packages / Return-to-Sender
If a package is returned to us because it was unclaimed or not picked up from the post office within the carrier’s holding period, we will notify you upon receipt.

You may choose to have the order reshipped. In this case, a second shipping fee will apply.

If you choose not to have it reshipped, we will offer a refund for the items, excluding the original shipping cost.

We will hold returned packages for 14 days from the date we receive them. If we do not hear from you within that timeframe, the order will be considered closed, and no further action will be taken.
Please note that shipping carriers do not notify us when a package is being held or is about to be returned. We strongly encourage customers to track their shipment using the tracking link we provide in the shipping confirmation email.
