Shigaraki ware (also known as Shigaraki yaki in Japanese) is pottery produced in Shiga prefecture's Shigaraki area. Shigaraki ware is one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan. It is regarded as one of the most outstanding Japanese kilns, along with Bizen, Tamba, Echizen, Seto, and Tokoname, with traditions that continue to this day. It is estimated to have a 1,260-year history.

Clay.
The warm, orange-hued sandy clay from Lake Biwa's bed is known for its durability and characterizes Shigaraki pottery.
9 cm diameter, 7.5 cm high, 340 ml capacity
Wipe or rinse right after use when possible. Wash gently with a soft sponge and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh cleaners, as they may damage the glaze.
Not recommended for dishwashers or microwaves to preserve the handmade finish. Allow the piece to dry completely before storing.
Due to their handmade nature, slight variations in color, texture, and shape are normal and highlight the individuality of each item.
