Cherry blossoms on Mt. Yoshino

Cherry blossoms on Mt. Yoshino - The Wabi Sabi Shop
Cherry blossoms on Mt. Yoshino begin blooming in late March or early April and peak in early to mid-April. Going to see this magnificent view has been on my bucket list for quite some time.
For centuries, Mt. Yoshino (Yoshinoyama) in Nara Prefecture has been one of Japan's most famous cherry blossom viewing spots. More than 1300 years ago, the first trees were planted along its slopes, and today the mountain is covered by approximately 30,000 cherry trees of various varieties, particularly the Yamazakura variety.
May the travel restrictions be lifted, and may we all soon be able to visit Nara and see this spectacular view!
