The Donburi Bowl is larger and deeper than a typical rice bowl, and is used to serve Donburi dishes - meals consisting of ingredients such as meat, fish, vegetables, or other foods served over rice.

Donburi bowls are also versatile and can be used to serve salads, cereal, yogurt, and more.

Shigaraki Ware, also known as Shigaraki yaki in Japanese, is a type of pottery produced in the Shigaraki area of Shiga prefecture. It is considered one of the "Six Ancient Kilns" of Japan and is renowned for its 1,260-year history of production.

Kushime is a method of creating parallel lines on a soft material using a comb with multiple tips.

Kohiki refers to the technique of applying white mud with high water content to the entire surface of colored clay works to make them appear whiter.
