Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese squire fabric that has been around for over a thousand years. The tradition can be traced all the way back to the Nara Period. It's so versatile and multi-purpose because of its simple shape. The possibilities are limitless. It also makes a great gift wrapping.

Yumeji Takehisa (1884 - 1934) was a Japanese poet, painter, and designer from the Taisho Era. These beautiful patterns and unique hues are based on Yumeji's work.
