Yuzen-dyeing is dyeing technique used in Japan since the 8th century. It was developed in Kyoto and the technique is used to dye kimono.
This multi-purpose fuukin makes excellent drying/cleaning cloths. Not only do they pick up liquid and dirt up quickly and effectively, they also wash clean without any hassle. Because of the 8 layers of mesh cloth stitched together, they are extremely durable and guaranteed to last.
Shirayukifuukin means “white snow towel” in Japanese. The cloth stays as clean as white snow for a long time. The cloth is very durable. The fuukin will become softer with each use.
Please wash thoroughly in warm water by hand before the first use to remove the starch. They use natural sweet potato starch from Kagoshima prefecture in Japan. Soak in hot water with 40 degrees to let the starch soften. Rince until water comes out clean.

How to care for Shirayuki Fuukin Please use a laundry net when washing in a washing machine. Preferably hand wash. Please air dry. Do not tumble dry. The dryer will cause shrinkage.
